"Although drop-in space cannot be 100% guaranteed, we have yet to be so full as to turn anyone away--it always seems to work out! There is no need to call ahead, but please, if you are new to us and dropping in, arrive 10-15 minutes early to sign-in, meet the instructor and take care of payment before class begins. (We welcome you--come to class, but come early!)

Additional registration information
Early registration is lovingly encouraged so that you may reserve the classes that best suit your schedule. If necessary, you may join after the session begins (it there is still space in the class) and pro-rate your tuition. You may register though our web site, by calling the center, or arriving extra early to sign-up in person.
New students please arrive 15 minutes before your first class to finish registering and to meet with your instructor. The Shanti Yoga Center supplies everything you need for class, but you might want to bring a bottle of water, a small towel and wear layers of clothing for heating up and cooling down. Dress in stretchy, comfortable clothes, and remove your socks for class-all classes are done in bare feet, and we love clean feet!

If you miss a class during the session, you may make up it up at any appropriate level any time during the current term, according to space availability. A class may also be made-up in advance of a known absence. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring a friend to an appropriate level class as a make-up. Students must be 15 years of age unless enrolled in a class specifically designed for their age-group.
Although our lives can seem so very hectic, adding yoga can focus our scattered energy, creating balance and a sense of calm. Yoga is a transformational art, encouraging physical health, mental clarity, emotional stability, and individual spiritual expression. Yoga helps us open up in wonder instead of shutting down in overwhelm, creating positive change in our lives and in the lives we touch. We wish, for us all, a calm abidance in the present moment.
