Hatha Flow
Gentle 1
This class is wonderful for absolute beginners as well as returning students who simply enjoy a slower paced class than the Level 1. Explore breath, alignment, strengthening and stretching, while gently discovering the foundational postures and principles of Hatha Flow Yoga.  This class is soothing to the nervous system while energizing and renewing to the BodyMind.

Hatha Flow
Level 1
This moderately paced class is great for active beginners in good health, as well as for the more experienced students wanting to review and refine their practice. Emphasis is on healthy alignment of the body/mind, conscious breathing, building strength and flexibility, and calming the nervous system. In addition, the cultivation of yoga’s inner qualities, such as persistence, sensitivity, courage, and openheartedness are clarified.

 Hatha Flow
Level 2
Level 2 classes are well-suited for healthy students familiar with all foundational postures, pranayama and meditation.  Starting with a firm foundation in Sun Salutations and basic standing and seated postures, these active classes explore stronger backbends, inversions at the wall, and gentle arm balances, while observing the subtle complexities of alignment that connect body and breath, movement and stillness.

Hatha Flow
Level 3

These somewhat more vigorous classes are for students in sound condition without injuries, with an ongoing practice and a willingness to dive more deeply into the subtleties of the journey.  At this level we increase our ability to be present in the dharma discussion and in meditation, as well as challenging ourselves by exploring deeper backbends, longer-held inversions, and intermediate arm balances.  We will deepen our understanding of breath and alignment, and refining the expansive, non-judging mind.

 

Lunch Hour
All Levels
An hour in the middle of the day in the middle of the week to stretch, breath, and relax!  Similar to our Gentle Level 1 format and wonderful for all levels of students, take this time to unwind and prepare for the rest of a great week.

Yin Yoga Meditation
All Levels
This class offers students a different kind of practice from the more yang-style inherent to Hatha Flow classes. Here the challenge arises from exploring longer seated holds of up to 5 minutes in the Yin style/Taoist Yoga tradition, deeply stretching and nourishing all connective tissue while steadying the mind through a variety of pranayama practices. Patience is acquired as we practice stilling the restless mind through passive holding, concentration, and meditation in a very quiet but gently challenging and deeply nourishing setting.
                            

Restorative    
All Levels
A cooling, relaxing complement to
Hatha Flow classes, combining very gentle asanas, visualizations, pranayama, and Restorative Poses to deeply nurture the BodyMind.  All Levels of students will benefit greatly from this quiet, soothing class.
        

              
Private + Therapeutic Instruction
with Yvonne

Private Sessions are an ideal way to explore  your practice more deeply by refining and enhancing your yoga through individual instruction.
Depending on your needs and requests, we might explore asana, pranayama, and meditation, as well as delving into the foundational philosophies and dharma of yoga.

Therapeutic Sessions assist students in recovery from illness, chronic pain, or for injury rehabilitation.
